Light duty towing in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Flatbed and wheel lift towing for cars, SUVs, minivans and pickups. Free estimates.
Your car made a noise on the I-15 on-ramp that you’ve never heard before, and now it won’t go. Cars love a dramatic exit. Splendid Towing Assistance provides light duty towing for cars, SUVs, minivans and pickups across Rancho Cucamonga and nearby towns.
Short answer: We tow cars, SUVs, minivans and pickups on a flatbed or a wheel lift. Luxury, lowered and all-wheel drive cars always ride on a flatbed. Call (909) 757-8831 for a free estimate.

Which vehicles count as light duty?
- Sedans, coupes and hatchbacks
- SUVs, crossovers and minivans
- Pickup trucks, including pickups pulling a small trailer (tell us the trailer size)
- Luxury, sports and lowered cars
- Cars that won’t start, have a flat with no spare, or were in an accident
Flatbed or wheel lift: which one does your car need?
| Flatbed | Wheel lift | |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | The whole car rides on the truck bed | Two wheels are lifted; the other two roll |
| Best for | Luxury, lowered, all-wheel drive and damaged cars | Everyday front- or rear-wheel drive cars on shorter trips |
| Wheels on the road | None | Two |
| Cost | Free estimate and upfront price | Often the more affordable choice |
Not sure? Tell us the year, make and model and whether it’s all-wheel drive. We’ll send the right truck.
What should I tell the dispatcher?
- Where you are: the freeway and direction, or the street and nearest cross street.
- The year, make, model and color of the car.
- What happened: it won’t start, a flat with no spare, an accident, or it’s stuck.
- Where the car should go: your mechanic, a dealer, a body shop or your home.
- Whether the keys are with the car.
What should I do while I wait?
- Move the car off the road if you can do it safely, and turn on the hazard lights.
- On the freeway, get out on the side away from traffic only if it’s safe, and wait behind a barrier or well off the shoulder.
- Take your phone, wallet and valuables out of the car.
- If anyone is hurt, call 911 first.
California’s Slow Down, Move Over law asks drivers to move over or slow down when they pass a stopped vehicle with flashing lights. Since January 1, 2026, that includes any stopped vehicle, such as a broken-down car with its hazard lights on. Details are on the California DMV’s 2026 new laws page.
Could it be a roadside fix instead?
Sometimes, yes. A dead battery may only need a jump start, a flat with a good spare a tire change, an empty tank fuel delivery, and keys locked inside a car lockout visit. Tell us what happened and we’ll tell you which one you need.
